Windesheim University adopts OmniPlayer

From the start of the new education year, Windesheim University in Zwolle (the Netherlands) will be using Omniplayer radio automation software for journalism training. The software will be rolled out through the university’s production and play-out chain.

OmniPlayer is therefore a logical next step for us, especially with it being the new standard in the Netherlands. We want to teach prospective journalists to work with the same software they’ll eventually encounter in the field. The integrated SmartTrack audio editor provided with OmniPlayer is a plus in that respect. In addition, OmniPlayer integrates perfectly with our Axia mixing tables and the LiveWire + AoIP protocol."
