We are happy to announce that we continue to expand across Europe. Danish station Radio LOUD started broadcasting the 1st of April using OmniPlayer Radio Automation Software for its radio production and playout system.

In 2019, the Danish Government launched a new broadcast opportunity for a national DAB+ radio channel in Denmark. This broadcasting license was won by Kulturradio Danmark A/S, under the name “Radio LOUD – The Radio for the Younger Denmark”. In a short period of time the Danish station managed to build an entirely new studio which is ready for the future.

Easy to use

“We were looking for an automation system where the quality and the possibilities were not compromised”, says Jesper Westh, Chief Technician, Radio LOUD. “At the same time, it should be easy to use for our users. That’s why we chose OmniPlayer. The software lived up to our expectations, and has a lot of features which makes it easy for us to build our public service rapport and keep track of the played content at all times. Because of the stability of the software and 24/7 support by the Dutch team we are sure Radio LOUD is futureproof.”

Peter van Klei, Commercial Director of OmniPlayer says: “We are very pleased that with the assistance of PROBroadcast ApS Radio LOUD has chosen OmniPlayer as the core system for their radio production, planning and playout. I am confident that with the help of important features such as database exchange between the studio in Svendborg and the main studio in Copenhagen, OmniPlayer is the right choice. We are looking forward to be working with Radio LOUD as their radio automation partner for many years to come.”
